QUESTION TAGS

L'utilisation du question tag consiste à poser une question en utilisant la forme affirmative ou negative et l'utilisation du d'une forme interro ou interro-négative en fin de phrase, composé de l'auxiliaire 
et le pronom relatif correspondant :


Se traduit en général par ' n'est- ce pas 'en français 

Present simple :   
You play football ! don't you ?  you don't play football ! Do you?   

Present continuous : You're playing football ! aren't you ? You're not playing football ! are you ? 

Past continuous :
you were playing football ! weren't you ?  you weren't playing football ! were you ? 

Past simple : you played football ! didn't you ?  you didn't play football ! did you ? 

present perfect :
you have played football ! Haven't you ?  you haven't played football ! have you 

Futur simple : you will play football ! won't  you ?  you won't football ! will you ? 

present conditional : you would play football !  you  wouldn't you ?you wouldn't play football ! would you ? 

Pour les autres temps on utilise toujours l'auxiliaire principal ?

ex : I could have won, couldn't I ? I will have saved 500 $ ! won't I ?


Impératif 

Do your homework ! won't  you ?

Let's go to the beach ! shall we ?
